How Long Does a 10kWh Battery Last?
Runtime = usable energy / load. A 10kWh lithium battery gives about 9kWh usable once depth of discharge and inverter losses are counted.

At a 1kW load (fridge, lights, TV, router) that is roughly 9 hours. At 2kW (add a split AC) about 4.5 hours. At 3kW about 3 hours.
High heat and high discharge current shave real runtime, so plan 10-15% below the theoretical figure.
If the 10kWh is gel nameplate, usable energy is around 5kWh - roughly half the runtime.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Comparing amp-hours only and ignoring voltage, ending up with four times less energy than needed
- Discharging lead acid below 50%, which cuts life to less than half
- Picking a bank that does not match the inverter voltage, so charging fails or runs inefficiently
- Thin cable or a long run between bank and inverter, causing voltage drop and lost power
- Mixing new and old packs, or different capacities, on the same bus
