How Long Does a 15kWh Battery Last?
A 15kWh lithium bank gives about 13.5kWh usable. At 1kW that is roughly 13 hours, at 2kW about 6.7 hours, at 3kW about 4.5 hours.

This is the most requested residential size in Saudi Arabia because it covers a full night of essentials plus one or two split ACs.
Running two split ACs (about 3kW) with 0.5kW of essentials gives roughly 3.8 hours, which is why many buyers step up to 30kWh for full overnight cooling.
Packs at this size are usually 51.2V with 280-300Ah, and drop straight onto 48V hybrid inverters.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Comparing amp-hours only and ignoring voltage, ending up with four times less energy than needed
- Discharging lead acid below 50%, which cuts life to less than half
- Picking a bank that does not match the inverter voltage, so charging fails or runs inefficiently
- Thin cable or a long run between bank and inverter, causing voltage drop and lost power
- Mixing new and old packs, or different capacities, on the same bus
